Upcoming Business Conferences and Expos in the Travel and Hospitality Industry

A year on, the pandemic hit travel and tourism industry is bound to recover, and the planning for its revival is already underway.

The “new normal” can arguably be termed as the most widely used key-phrase in 2020. The new normal brought by the pandemic disrupted many mature financial sectors worldwide, especially in the travel and tourism sectors. As the deadly grasp of COVID-19 is loosening up over the world, travel industry experts and enthusiasts are planning to keep the show going on this year.

The introduction of the vaccine has stimulated hope and optimism in the travel and tourism industry. The industry slowed down during the lockdowns imposed to curb the pandemic. It has gained little normalcy only since the last quarter of 2020.

If the numbers of new hotels that resume in 2021 are to be made a parameter for the industry’s revival, then the hotel industry this year will do a lot better. In India, for example, Goa leads the industry as it has seen significant growth in recent months.
