When it comes to talking about female healthcare in India things go hush hush. The access to quality healthcare for females in India is yet a distant dream. What lacks female healthcare in India is a single platform that provides affordable healthcare services to females. Looking to fill the gap in the female health space, Zealthy leaped forward to create a digital health platform focussed to provide the best health services only to women.
What is Zealthy and what is it solving?
Zealthy was founded in 2019 by Dr. Rishi Malhotra and Akhil Gupta. They developed a consolidated women-centric health platform to obtain consultations from gynecologists and healthcare practitioners for specialties like maternity, infertility, cosmetic interventions, etc. at affordable prices. Zealthy, through its vernacular content, wants to dig deeper into tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India. Besides, connecting with doctors Zealthy is a one-stop-shop platform for purchasing fertility product plans such as female fertility, male reproductive health, couple fertility, etc. Infertility procedures such as artificial reproduction consisting of services such as IVF and IUI, fertility supporting procedures such as blocked fallopian tubes and laparoscopy, and other gynecological procedures such as fibroid removal, ovarian cyst removal are also provided by Zealthy.
How Zealthy works?
Zealthy has various fertility product plans for both females, males, and couples for boosting testosterone levels, treating PCOS, achieving pregnancy plans, etc. These products are Zealthify’s private label which is developed by fertility experts and doctors with ingredients that are scientifically proven and work in the real world. In its subscription model, the customer purchases a plan and answers an assessment to know more about reproductive health. The products present under the plan are delivered within 3-4 days. The fertility plans are designed for 3 months and begin from Rs 599. Apart from product plans, customers can speak with fertility experts to receive a free personalized diet and exercise plan with unlimited free follow-ups.
Couples before opting for infertility procedures can seek consultation with expert gynecologists who charge free for first consultations. Its winning weapon is its informative blogs which describe in Layman’s language about the various medical conditions that could be easily understood by the audience.

Funding
In March 2020, Zealthy had raised funds from KYT ventures, First Cheque, and AngelList. With funds raised, Zealthy wants to penetrate deeper into tier-II and tier-III cities by developing its product and tech stack to add more local languages into its platform.
Zealthy’s reach
Zealthy has received over 5 million google impressions out of which 70 percent of the searches it receives from tier-II and tier-III cities largely because of its vernacular content. The startup has its presence in more than 15 cities and has partnered with prominent hospitals such as Apollo cradle, Milann, Morpheus, Motherhood, and other maternity homes.
What is in store for startups foraying into femtech?
For the next few years, the Indian government will be prioritizing healthcare. According to a report titled ‘Indian e-Health- The New Norm Post-Covid’ by RedSeer the Indian ‘eHealth’ sector is projected to grow by 13 times, to become a $16 Billion opportunity by 2025. In such a scenario, any startup that caters largely to the rural audience will gain immense acceptance, since people are now gaining more consciousness about female health.
