Start-up incubation support is an essential part of the start-up ecosystem that helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses and succeed profitably. Telangana State Innovation Cell – Leading the start-up incubation charge
The Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) was created in 2017 as part of the state’s innovation policy with a threefold goal of:
Promoting the culture of reform and entrepreneurship in the state.
Promoting innovation in government departments and agencies.
Creating a culture of innovation on the school stream.

The idea is to lead all the start-ups in a specialized and participatory alliance and allow them across the region to increase the home market's attractiveness and be ready to support the angle of the stage offered by incubators.
Practical teamwork, defined roles for start-up incubation
An innovation director heads the innovation unit. The team comprises the innovation director and six colleagues who are dedicated to training new talent, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the state. It is a one-stop-shop for handling all incentives.
The Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) promotes the early stage start-up ecosystem, from creating new businesses to the incentive to enter the market (venture capital funding phase). It is a central point of contact for administering all the incentives announced in the state’s innovation policy for start-ups and incubators.
TSIC is currently set up at IIIT-Hyderabad. The initiative was set up to network all cooperation areas and become effective as incubators through joint support. Through these partnerships, start-ups initially receive business/strategy advice, market connectivity and investor access.

Operational assistance (banking, legal, accounting)

It effectively provides one window for all the incentives. It supports and promotes technological innovations in the core Hyderabad start-up ecosystem.
T-Hub and Catalyst – Key in Telangana’s Start-up Incubation
Entrepreneurs and incubators from various industries come together in a modern 70,000-square-foot building known as the “Catalyst” to help start-ups grow. One of the most popular Catalyst’s programmes is Lab32.
Along with that, T-Hub is an innovation broker and incubator based in Hyderabad. The innovative Triple Helix model is a collaboration between Telangana state, three universities in Hyderabad, and the private sector players. T-Hub strives to foster entrepreneurship in the state.
Catalyst operates on a PPP model between the Government of Telangana, IIIT-H, Indian Business School (ISB), National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), and top private sector leaders. It also regularly hosts conferences, networking events, workshops, mentoring sessions and more for the benefit of all of its members.
Based on T-Hub’s success, the state aims to create an excellent physical infrastructure that provides an environment for developing ideas, expansion and execution of businesses. The state government has set an excellent start-up program to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through access to cutting-edge technology and a network of companies, mentors, investors and service providers.

It is, therefore, important to note that the state government’s efforts for helping new businesses to proceed and resuscitate struggling businesses are major steps in the right direction. A startup owner or wannapreneur in Telangana can have a plethora of prospective successful business aspects and immense financial opportunities to back those ideas.
Moreover, these steps are more than just a form of financial assistance and pedagogical aid in helping businesses to set. They also form a community of entrepreneurs in a thriving innovative start-up ecosystem.
